This was my first visit to Costa Rica and we drove down to Jaco to visit. I immediately fell in love with Jaco and the Costa Rica Coffee Experience shop! Emily was very helpful and delightful to talk to. This is such a unique store and the beautifully made products are great gifts. We are planning another trip in July... More

When I go to Jaco, I always stop in at the Costa Rica Coffee Experience shop for gifts, pepper, soap, coffee and just to see what's up. The vibe is always upbeat and happy. Seeing the beautiful made-in-Costa-Rica products is inspiring. I usually leave with an iced coffee, feeling content.

I love the Monkey Poop store... it always smells amazing because of the delicious coffee and cinnamon tea that they brew there. This little store is such a fun place to just wander around and find hidden treasures. They have a great selection of hot sauces and chocolate as well as amazing bags, cool coffee mugs, and an awesome display... More

I've gone in here three times now. And the only reason I went back twice after the first time was because I was looking for something specific and hoped they would have it. Every time I have been to this store, the gentleman who works behind the counter has been rude and acts as though I am bothering him. Also,... More

This is a must stop if you are in Jaco. I loved all the unique gifts, - no junk from China here. I was able to find most of my things to remember my trip in this store. The help was super friendly. The fruity monkey poop was a hit with my kids. Loved the store.

Very cute shop if you are looking for nice souvenirs different than the type tourist shops. But as for calling it a coffee shop, I would not classify it as that. They only had one type of coffee. Kind of let down that their was not more options or flavors. The clerk behind the desk was quiet unpleasant, did not... More

We have changed personnel based on the feedback we received - thank you! We do offer hot brewed organic coffee from 2 different regions as well as a minimum of 4 coffees from different farms to take home to brew. In addition, we serve what people tell us is the best iced coffee in Jaco (cold-brewed!). And for those who... More

One of my favourites stores in town, the owner is very careful and thoughtful with the products that he sell, so anything you find there is real local and good quality art and authentic, that you will not find in any other place of Jaco. Apart from the art, they sell a delicious dry pineapple, artisan chocolates, pretty good coffee... More

Awesome shop with local coffees and lot of unique crafts that make it ideal for gifts. Prices are fair and easy to see the art and crafts are truly authentic.

We somehow had high expectation for this place. We made a point reading reviews and searched for it while while we were in Jaco. It turns out it is a small gift shop with cheap looking souvenirs and about 10 bags of ground coffee. Definitely worth a pass.

Sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Your description of our shop is not an accurate one so I don't have a lot to more to add. (We always have 60 - 100 bags of whole bean and ground coffee on the shelf, representing various regions of the country. Maybe you were in a different establishment?). More
