Unique gifts and great coffee!

Great stop for unique gifts and not all of the typical souvenirs you find in all the other shops. Who doesn't want gifts that say Fruity Monkey Poop?

We somehow had high expectation for this place. We made a point reading reviews and searched for it while while we were in Jaco. It turns out it is a small gift shop with cheap looking souvenirs and about 10 bags of ground coffee. Definitely worth a pass.

Sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Your description of our shop is not an accurate one so I don't have a lot to more to add. (We always have 60 - 100 bags of whole bean and ground coffee on the shelf, representing various regions of the country. Maybe you were in a different establishment?). More

If you wanted to be treated like dirt go into this store. Outside you see 4 different signs for coffee. Some of them say "coffee to go". We walked in, but didn't really see any coffee machinery so we asked if they had coffee to go. The guy behind the counter looked at us like we were idiots, and said... More

Through this site we have emailed 'LetsgoseeThings' to personally apologize and to confirm which employee she dealt with. We've since reviewed some our customer service basics and language training. The employee in question generally gets rave reviews and has been working at the store for several years. While his less than friendly behaviour isn't acceptable I believe it's an anomaly... More

I come to Jaco often and people keep telling about the Costa Rica Coffee experience and despite some negative comments by other reviewer in regards to their customer service, opening hours and even the coffee it self i went down to check it out. Our host from the surf camp suggested this place if we wanted a cool gift and... More

I loved this store. I walked in from the hot humid Jaco air to find a beautifully decorated air conditioned funky store. The staff was courteous and friendly and I loved their coffee. As I sipped my coffee I checked out some of the products they were selling, some real cool stuff... Definitely check it out if you're in the... More

I saw a billboard for this place saying "fruity monkey poop" and also claiming that this attraction is the best coffee experience in Costa Rica. Well I love Costa Rica coffee, and fruity monkey poop for some reason intrigued me, so a took a visit. Not what I expected at all. This is a tiny little gift shop that sells... More

Yes, it's true we are a small to-go coffee shop and we sell some cool gifts as well. While there are cheaper coffees at the supermarket (and some more expensive), we provide a different coffee experience. We know the farmers that grow the coffee and we offer smaller farms and co-ops the chance to present their products - you won't... More

Boy, I sure didn't experience the same. The first day I went to find out about what all these great reviews were talking about...it was around 12:45pm. There was a "be back in 5 min" sign on the door. Well, I figured it'd be only a couple minutes, so I went into the shop next door to kill time. 8... More

Sorry for your bad experience. We try to treat all our customers with respect and in a friendly manner. Upon speaking to the employee my only guess is that maybe he forgot the "back in 5 mins" sign on the door, giving you the impression that we were still closed when in fact he was back and open. It still... More

I stopped one morning to check out store as I was told it was a cool shop. The signs also said that the store was open but the doors were locked. The shop worker next door said that he was probably in the bathroom in to wait. I waited about 10 minutes and finally someone came to the counter. The... More

Sorry for your bad experience.I spoke to the employee and he remembers you. He had to lock the door and attend to something in the back of the shop. He returned to wash his hands in the sink behind the counter. He then noticed you at the door but by the time he had dried his hands and got to... More

I was expecting to grab a cup of coffee, but all they had was iced coffee and it was only one bean. It said a Costa Rica coffee experience and that's what I was hoping for. It isn't a bad place if you want to grab gifts like shirts and other Costa Rican souvenirs, but it is far from a... More
