My boyfriend and I enlisted Juan to give us a tour on July 26th in the morning - and it was one of the best activities during our week stay in Costa Rica. Juan was not only professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, but genuinely concerned that we were well informed and enjoying ourselves. During the tour, he pointed out animals and... More

I thought I knew a lot about Nature and Wildlife--but I learned ever so much on this tour. Juan took this old lady under his wing and I will be forever grateful. I saw such beauty in the trees, flowers, animals and even in reptiles and insects! I was amazed at how Juan and the boat driver could see these... More

Last year my grown daughter and son and I had the pleasure of going on Juan's Manuel Antonio Park tour and had a terrific time. This year I took my daughter and 80 year old mother to Costa Rica for his tour and we all loved it. We got great pictures and enjoyed his expertise and personality. He was terrific... More

Our family of 5 toured Manuel Antonio National Park with Juan. We were joined by another family of 4. It was an excellent experience and Juan took the time to answer our many questions and managed to keep all of us interested the entire time. I was afraid our 3 teenagers wouldn’t enjoy a guided tour – I thought it... More

Juan was our guide for both the Mangrove boat tour and Manuel Antonio park. We would not have seen all the animals that we did without him. He was great with our 2 young children, they enjoyed as much as we did. He took us to a great restaurant and gave us good recommendations, like paying our exit tax in... More

While traveling on a budget I decided that booking with Juan Brennes would be an extravagance. The guided tour experience was so worthwhile. My husband and teen son enjoyed seeing Manual Antonio with Juan and his superscope. His knowledge of each animal was extensive. Juan shared much about the history of the park and gave us many insights of his... More

I would recommend Juan to anyone...he was friendly and helpful (had all the best local tips). I saw so much wildlife; howler monkeys, squirrel monkey, white faced monkey, deer, crabs (big & small), loads of birds that I can't remember the names of, sloths (including a very cute baby one)....If your going to Manuel Antonio....definitely look up Juan.

I was skeptical about booking an afternoon tour. We thought it would be way too hot but Juan was right - it was cooler, especially after a nice rain shower and there were less crowds. We almost had the park to ourselves. There is not a lot to say that has not already been said - Juan is quite knowledgeable,... More

My wife and I joined Juan at 8:30 at the entrance to the park. From that meeting on we enjoyed everything about the experience. It could have been a bit cooler but that was not anything a guide could control. We had a gread trip and then had a great luch at the place he recommended. You could NOT see... More

Juan's ability to find the creatures and his knowledge of Manuel Antonio and the Mangrove swamp was incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our days with him. With his scope he was able to take some great pictures for us to have as a souvenir of our trip.
