Beautiful Mangrove Tour! Sloths and Monkeys!

We had a wonderful time on the mangrove monkey tour. We got off of our tour bus and upon arrival immediately saw a sloth that was in a tree right by the parking lot. My 13 year... read more

We booked this last minute with my two friends. Maybe it's because it was slow season but we ended up being the only people on the tour which I loved. Before we even got on the boat they pointed out a local sloth in the trees. Apparently it's there a lot. We get on the boat and our tour guide,... More

We went because the national park was closed on Mondays. We did see a sloth and a monkey but honestly were starting to get bored by the end. I think the drizzly rain kept a lot of the animals tucked away, which is obviously not the tour guides fault. I just felt $50 a person was steep for what we... More

We did the national rainforest tour the day before and opted to do this the next day. Quite honestly we saw everything we could have possibly wanted to on this tour and could have skipped the national park. We saw all kinds of wildlife including a sloth up close and the monkeys were amazing. Alex put tour guide took his... More

My group had the time of their lives on this trip through the mangroves our guide (Crazy Alex) was nop-notch. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. He made sure we saw plenty of monkeys, interacted with them and also the other wild-life on the tour. I actually saw more wild-life on this tour than on the Manuel Antonio... More

My family and I booked this tour through HRG Properties and we were told that we would see lots of monkeys and would be able to feed them. We rode in a boat going up and down a filthy river with the guide supposedly "calling" the monkeys. After two hours, no monkeys, splitting headache from the guide yelling and covered... More

We had a wonderful time on the mangrove monkey tour. We got off of our tour bus and upon arrival immediately saw a sloth that was in a tree right by the parking lot. My 13 year old son was thrilled! We then were brought down to the boat for the tour. Our tour guide, Diego, was very knowledgeable about... More

This was the most fun I had the entire time. The Monkees actually come down from the trees jump on you and eat out of your hand. They are so cute. The door is professionally-run entertaining and just wonderful

This was a interesting tour. the tour was an hour and a half 49 usd per person. I feel like it was slightly over priced for the experience we received. We were on the boat hour and a half and only 2 or 3 monkeys came down. Looking at other photos I wish that we would've experienced more for what... More

We drove to the tour company and as soon we get out of our car, the owner motions for us to come over. On his property was a sloth so close you could touch it and then a baby sloth in a tree. I freaked out in joy because we have been to Costa 3 times and sloths can be... More

We were told about this tour by staff at Lost Beach. It took us a little under an hour to drive from Jaco. We booked for 11am and arrived a few minutes early. Staff were immediately greeting us and showed us where to park. The kids barely had their feet on the ground when staff were offering high fives to... More
