Great beach for families with kids because the waves are generally small. The hike to get down to the beach is steep and not paved, but it is pretty. There is no parking lot, so you'll want to pay to have your car "attended to"...More

Our Manuel Antonio tour guide recommended this beach and we were not disappointed! The road to the beach is not paved and is narrow and rough, but empties onto a secluded beach that is truly breathtaking! Watch for the tide - we nearly lost our...More

Loved our day at the beach; it felt private! There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas for rent, and locals with a grill selling food and beverage. Great for families with young kids as the waves weren't 'huge'

This is hands down my favorite swim spot in town. There are little to no waves making it enjoyable for people of all ages. There was a ceviche stand that sold vegitarian burgers and drinks. The beach was clean and not too crowded. This place...More

Great beach off the beaten path! I was hanging out by the rocks and saw an iguana in my peripheral, but one of the local's dog chased him off.

This beach is beautiful. It looks like something out of a movie. We went once during the week and once on the weekend. During the week it feels like your own private beach but the weekends are more crowded so you may want to get...More

This was our first beach in Manuel Antonio, and one of our favorites, After a paying the old couple to "watch your car" about $4 we walked down a rocky path to this beach, which has shade or sun, beautiful sand and great scenic islets...More

My friend and I went here on a Monday when Manuel Antonio National Park was closed, and I'm so glad we did. We rented two chairs and an umbrella for 10 USD and spent the day lounging and swimming. We also ordered cocktails for 5...More

Small beach , beautiful views and the best relaxing place in the area. No waves at all which helps you to make nice diving and admire the nature inside the ocean. I recommend this beach to people who want to relax and do not want...More

Playa Biesanz is a great beach. We paid about $4 to park along the road and have someone watch our car. From there it's a short, easy hike to the beach. The water is fairly calm--great for families with little ones. There are chairs/umbrellas for...More

While this is a fantastic beach for sand, snorkeling, and generally calmer/flatter water, it does face almost due north and so I suspect you will be unable to watch a sunset from this beach! I would recommend heading to... More

Shana hotel is lovely and Biesanz beach is an easy walk from the hotel -5-10 minutes at most. It is s beautiful quite beach, perfect with a baby. Getting up to the main road is much more difficult.
