This beach was amazing. I was blown away by the hike to the beach (pretty long, would recommend good footwear) and the amazing service. Everyone there was so kind and friendly. A must visit

My wife and I recently visited Playa Biesanz per the recommendation of a local taxi driver and we were not disappointed!!! It was within walking distance from our hotel and the entrance was a small gate. Locals will watch your car for 2000 colones. You...More

Playa Biesanz is a beautiful little beach unlike many of the others in the area. Most of the beaches are fairly exposed to the ocean so the surf can be quite intimidating. However, Biesanz is in a secluded bay so the water is very calm...More

Playa Biesanz is a small less crowded beach than the main MA beaches. It's down the same road as the Parador Resort and La Mariposa. Parking is on the side of the road where a local will "watch" your car for $2 for the day....More

This beach was one of my favorite hidden gems...we went on a rainy day but we had a blast. Take water shoes to be able to walk on the beach. Locals rent out beach umbrellas and chairs for about $2,500 each.

Shana hotel is lovely and Biesanz beach is an easy walk from the hotel -5-10 minutes at most. It is s beautiful quite beach, perfect with a baby. Getting up to the main road is much more difficult.
