First off, we were not able to snorkel. This is no one's fault and my rating of two stars does not reflect this. The storm had just hit several days before and the water was in poor condition to facilitate snorkeling. The reason I give...More

We went to Tortuga on a day trip from Puntareanas. We snorkeled on the way out and spent the day on the beach. We rented beach chairs, got rum in coconuts and hung out in the water all day. It was gorgeous. The best part...More

Hi Aaron, Thanks for your nice comments. It is very nice to be able to enjoy the sounds of nature in a quite and calm place away from the city. We are glad you are one of those persons that have this capability. Thanks, Mario

We went to Tortuga Island on the Costa Cat. It was a nice adventure; we went snorkeling and walked the eco-tour trail. The scenery was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the fresh coconut water served right out of the coconuts.

We used a local company to take us to snorkel and hang on the beach on Tortuga Island, but there were too many companies bringing tourists to the same place to enjoy any of it. We were worried about getting hit by a boat while...More

Hi We are sorry to hear you did not have a good experience snorkeling. At this time of the year water gets a little murky doe to the rain. We are glad the Coco-locos ( Rum & Cononut water) soothed things out. Thanks, Mario C.

This island is so so crowded. Coral reef seams dead long time ago and you share the limited space with hundreds of turists. Only upside was the boattrip, we used Zuma Tours, which was great. We saw whales and enjoyed riding along the coast line....More

We are sorry you did not enjoy that much the Island as much as 99.5% of the other tourist do. At least you had some highlights on your day tour. Thanks, Mario C.
