American Owner/Captain John will make sure all your needs are met on this 32 foot Ocean Master boat aptly named Stress Reeliever. We fish for all species found in this area, but specialize in Pacific Sailfish and Marlin. We offer all the newest in technology and gear on the boat, and have a complete set of Penn International Reels to get your big fish to the boat! Our electronics include all high end Furuno components, and we have a 2010 Cummins Diesel pushing us out to where the fish are!

My wife and I booked a full day offshore where we fished with Tony and David. We trolled for seven hours, and we didn't have one bite. I've grown up fishing and understand sometimes they just don't bite. The captain knew what he was doing,...More

Fished 3 days and all 3 days were great. Captain John found the fish and knew how to catch them. These guys came highly recommended and we highly recommend them. Great trip. We will be back.

I finished up with graduate school, and took this trip with my father as a much-needed retreat from the rigors of academia. My father and I had never been to Central America before, and we had an exceptionally fun time getting away to go after...More

We went out fishing on 5/21/17 out of the Quepos Dock. Our trip was for inshore and we went out with Captain Johnny. We started off throwing 2 lines in almost as soon as we got on the boat and caught 2 roosterfish within the...More

Dang. Our inshore trips mainly target trophy roosterfish, and then we do deep drop trips, which are a different trip, which target grouper tile fish and snapper. When we do deep drop trips, we go pick up fresh squid or shrimp and then travel out...More

So glad you guys had fun. It was a slow week for sailfish, usually those dolphins you guys saw have YellowFin Tuna in them and that makes up for the slow sailfish bite, but it sounds like Alex was trying all the tricks with you...More

We are planning to be in Quepos May 17-24 and are interested (2-3) fishermen in in-shore fishing. Is that a good fishing time of the year? Two of us also fly fish (both salt and fresh water) and wonder if any of that is available nearby. Thanks for the help.
