Owners very unfriendly. Only the guys on the ground helping with the gadgets were nice. Not much too see during our dive at all. Boring dive spot. Average quality of equipment. Very expensive compared to international benchmarks (e.g. Egypt, Thailand, US, Greece, Zanzibar). We have been to more than 10 different dive centers: Here the overall experience was the worst.

Awesome tour, the diving is really good, the pricing is fair. They have great gear, amazing knowledge of the spot and staff is super friendly and competent. In my boat we had Mitch, Brad, Lynn and Laura (that for only two customers, even considering some of these people were doing DM surface exercises, its a lot) and all of them... More

I'm still relatively new to diving and therefore haven't really been able to get a good grasp on what's the difference between a good dive shop and bad dive shop. However, as a professional tour guide myself, I can tell you that you can't do better than oceans unlimited. The admin staff was very helpful in setting me up last... More

I'm open-water certified but my last dive was nine years ago, so I opted to do a refresher course with Oceans Unlimited before doing a couple ocean dives with them. The refresher was in the pool and I'm glad I did it. The staff made everything easy and they were all very nice. Their equipment was of excellent quality...Good BC's... More

Went there for advanced open water training. Great training and great boat crew. Boat trip to local sites is very short, but unless conditions are perfect, visibility will not be great due to the back and forth surge. Wildlife on the reef is abundant. Recommend planning ahead a trip to Cano. Ask for JT and tell him what you want... More

Just went on a two tank dive at manuel antonio. Do not expect great visibility and be prepared for surge, but we saw a number of cool fish and creatures including eels and pufferfish. Brad and JT were excellent dive masters, making sure our groups stuck together, helping with equipment, and pointing out wildlife. Very enjoyable dives and a well... More

I'm not one to complain; however we had some/witnessed some struggles with Oceans. Our guide Bastian was exceptional however and he was amazing at answering any and all questions I had. He was very professional. Back in September I 'booked' a local 2 tank dive along with a full day out at Cano(along with transportation) for the end of December.... More

I had 30 or so tanks in Central America within last 2 months. The 2 tanks done here this week are no doubt the worst and yet the most expensive ones. The office staff was very friendly and the gears were acceptable, but the diving experience itself was terrible. Went with two groups of students, they dropped us in the... More

Hola Ed, Thank you for your response we appreciate your opinions. We are sorry you had a bad experience, we inform everyone beforehand including you about the current conditions as we don't want to blindside anyone. This year, the visibility had taken longer to clear and that is unfortunately something that we cannot control. We wish we could. There is... More

My 11 year old daughter and I did a 2 tank dive on Sunday the 27th. It was shortly after hurricane Otto and the water was a little rough. I was a little nervous about my daughters first time in the ocean. Captain Bob handled the boat great and Brad who conducted our tour was very professional and great to... More
