We booked the Night Jungle Walk with Henry and it was amazing!
He picked us up at our AirBnB and showed us a lot of monkeys and a sloth while picking up the other participants of the tour.
After that we went to his property where we walked around for two hours and searched for all the animals.
I don‘t know how he was able to spot all those animals but we saw a lot of them. From spiders, to snakes, red-eyed leavefrogs, ants, toads and even a crocodile. It is great to see what he created on his property.
I can highly recommend doing a tour with Henry!

WOW! We did two tours, a daytime Manuel Antonio National Park and nighttime jungle tour. Our tour guide Henry was fantastic! Henry was very kind and fluent in English. He knew where all of the critters were located, so so many amazing animals— toucans, monkeys, owls, crocodiles, tree frogs just to name a few. Felt very safe the entire time and obtained some great pics. Fairly priced for some unforgettable memories. Look no further if you want to see some of the best Costa Rica has to offer!

We had an amazing trip to Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio with Henry. His passion for animals and education was so apparent, and we learned so much and had the most wonderful time. He is an absolute expert at spotting animals. We got the best pictures and memories!

Our guided tour through Manuel Antonio NP was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. Henry our guide collected us from our AirBnB accommodation at 7am. Before we even got to the park gates, he pulled over by the side of the road, got his telescope out and showed us 4 sloths in one tree!! Even Henry couldn’t believe it and said that’s we’d been very lucky.

Once we were through the strict check in process at the park gates (no single use plastics or food out of containers is allowed) then we followed Henry along the paths whilst he pointed out the wildlife for us - some of it so small that I have no idea how he spotted it. We would surely have missed it all without him. The park was pretty busy with guides and groups but everyone worked around each other and nobody missed any wildlife viewings. We saw blue/red crabs, tree crabs, baby iguana, chameleon, canopy lizard, green tree frog, massive grashoppers, male howler monkey, bats, fer-de-lance snake and spiders.

As if that wasn’t enough the trails then break out of the trees on a beautiful picture postcard beach where we could have a swim in the warm water. Just gorgeous.

It was a circular route so we got different views on the way back. Wonderful day out!

We were so glad (and lucky!) to have had the opportunity meet Henry and learn from him. We were a group of 11 family visiting Manuel Antonio for the first time, and feel like we won the lottery having Henry as a guide through the park. His lifelong and genuine love and care for the environment is apparent. Very highly recommended any of his tours!

Henry was such a wonderful tour guide! This was a highlight of our time in Quepos, and it wouldn’t have been the same with a different company. Henry was able to accommodate us on the tour with less than a 24-hour notice. The price was very reasonable, and it was a small group so we had a great, personalized experience. We saw iguanas, monkeys, sloths, hawks, and other animals. Highly recommend.

Henry is an amazing guide! Flawless English, a real passion and deep knowledge, easy ability to connect with adults and kids, eagle eyes and ability to translate natural topics, and just a really kind soul you’ll be glad to know. We really enjoyed his tours of Manuel Antonio and the night tour. If you’re in the area you’d be very well served by contacting him.

My family took a tour through Manuel Antonio with Henry Pizarro and had a great experience. He's great a spotting wildlife and an even better person. After we got back, he sent us all of the photos that he took of the things that we saw on our hike. I highly recommend reaching out to him if you are looking for a guide. He also runs night hikes on his property which we would've done if we had more time.

One other thing.,,,,,,If you are thinking of hiking through Manuel Antonio, I highly recommend a guide. Well worth it. We saw many monkeys, sloths birds, bats and other insects and creatures.

Also, the beach is FANTASTIC. Don't forget to bring your swimsuits!

Took Henry's night tour, well worth doing. Henry collected us at our hotel & right away he showed us a 3 toed Sloth outside the gate, what a great start. He then brought us to his land behind his house which he has rewilded. Straight away we heard wonderful sounds of the nocturnal wildlife. We walked a few steps and Henry started to find Frogs, Toads, Spiders, Iguanas, Basilisk Lizards, Inects, 2 Black & White Owls & lots more. Henry is full of interesting information & has done such a great job bringing back so much Wildlife. Henry's tour was great & we were delighted to support the great work he is doing.

My family of four enjoyed two tours guided by Henry. The first one was to Manuel Antonio National Park, and it was like watching one magic trick after another. Henry would peer into the canopy and say, "See that?" The four of us would stare until he deployed his spotting scope and showed us one marvel after another. We saw several two-toed and three-toed sloths, howler and capuchin monkeys, iguanas, large grasshoppers, and lots more. He took pictures with his camera and sent them to us afterwards (oddly enough, the new multi-lens iPhones won't work doing that - who knew?). The second tour was to Rainmaker Private Park, a suspension-bridge-filled lush tropical hike. Don't believe reviews that said it was strenuous. I'm 63 and had no issue at all navigating the stairs or bridges. Henry is a certified guide (which means 1000+ hours of education) with eighteen years of experience, and his love of nature was evident. He's even rehabilitating his own property to be a safe haven for wildlife. Fluent English, an engaging calm demeanor, and terrific local expertise - Henry has it all!
