First I would like to say that 1 week in Costa Rica is not enough, make sure that when you are choosing your hotel what location you want to stay because the day trips are long, lastly we used Costa Rica Fun Adventures and the team were awesome, Jorge and Minor were so awesome, informative when asked questions, took care... I rather enjoyed the boat ride down the River where we saw howler monkeys various birds and crocodiles then the horseback riding through the rainforest was amazing as well as the food was excellent! I highly recommend this activity!

My co-worker and I did this trip on a day off while in San Jose. I liked that transportation from the hotel was included. The departure time was good, 1030, rather than some other tours at 600! but as other reviewers mentioned, it can be long day if traffic on the port road with all the trucks is bad. We... More

It is an established tour, kind of made up, but indeed provides good service and let you enjoy nature and see few animals.

With a few changes this would really be a much better tour. Tour bus picks up passengers at various hotels is what happens and it is a bad idea. Have people meet your bus at a SPECIFIC time so the tour stays on time not an hour and a half late. Not a whole lot to see on the @2... More

Actual tour was called Sarapiqui River Adventure and Canopy Tour offered by Gray Line Tours when I booked it. All in all it was a long day but the tour made good on all it promised. The guide, Jorge was knowledgeable and I thought funny. My wife felt he was a little sarcastic and short at times but I didn't... More

Traveling with our grown daughter and her husband, hoping to encourage her sleeping adventurer, this was perfect. She's afraid of heights (I'm not super great with them, either!), but the zip lining crew helped us over our fears, as well as a couple of New Yorkers who felt the same way. You start with a bus ride to a stop... More

We booked this tour last minute because our reservations for a waterfall tour with another company got cancelled due to not being able to find transportation for us. And I am glad that tour got cancelled and we did a tour with Costa Rica Fun Adventures. We did the Canopy and Safari boat adventure and we had soooo much fun!!!... More

The wildlife is so beautiful. You will see Monkey, Crocodiles, Various Species of Birds. Always wave to the River People sitting along the shore line. Lunch is served in a River Front Cafe. The food is great and the cook are very interesting. Just sit back and enjoy the native people. The Guides are very knowledgable

Of all the tours I took from Gray Line, this was the best. The pick up time was quick, late start at hotel and had the best tour guide and most hospitable Family based Canopy Tour. So the adventure starts at Sarapiqui river boat trip, watching for animals and reptiles along the way. This is rain forest so expect it... More
