So far Café Central and Marisquería La Ribera are excellent establishments with high quality sourced ingredients. Try the seafood soup with the "viagra" (a separate condiment that enhances the flavor) boiled bananas, white rice is crack addictive.

From shoes to flowers to supplies for tonight's dinner - it's all here. This is a place for the locals and shows it in it's character. A great place to pick up souvenirs or to people watch. Bring you camera!

For a real cultural experience, go here. There's all kinds of shopping from the usual souvenirs to groceries and birds! Vendors also sell their wares on the street. It's crowded but cool to experience!

We had a great lunch for about 18USD at Hermanas Tapia Soda. Clean, tasty and very local food. Is a good place to eat if you are into trying local places.

Because this is a very popular spot it is easier to take a bus or cab rather than find a spot to park. Make sure to take your time and be prepared to haggle with the dealers to get a better price. Pura Vida!
