I was down in CR for the season, staying in the Southern Pacific region south of Ojochal. I had to make a quick business trip back to the US, and didn't relish the early am drive to SJO or the late evening return from SJO some days later....
ILT took great care of me. They confirmed in advance, they picked me up on-time (they actually arrived early), and they guided me through Customs when I returned. The drivers were professional, courteous, and efficient. ILT is now my go-to for getting from SJO to the Southern Pacific zone.

Punctual and reliable transport. We felt safe and had no issues whatsoever. They provided booster seats for our kids (booked ahead). They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the hotel. Then on a way back they were on time and dropped us off at the airport. I would recommend.

Great experience - good communication, automatic accommodation of our flight delays, super clean vehicle and friendly English speaking driverwaiting for us as we exited the airport. Nothing that could be done better for a transfer from our airport to hotel in San Jose! The other service I have used in the past couldn't accommodate us on two weeks notice so I will be using ILT CR moving forward for our needs now.

From the beginning, ILT was amazing to work with! Over email and phone, it was so easy to coordinate with their team. Once we arrived in Costa Rica, we had absolutely no issues with our shuttles. We were a group 12 friends moving from SJO to La Fortuna to Monteverde to Manuel Antonio - and the shuttles were incredibly reliable, safe, and fun! The drivers were so flexible and easy to engage with - truly made our trip amazing. Would recommend ILT to anyone looking for shuttles across Costa Rica.

We were greeted by our driver Al who spoke very good English. Be aware the line of drivers with signs is VERY long as you exit the airport, keep walking. Al was super welcoming and assisted in taking luggage to the van which was parked very close. The van was new and A/C was fantastic. Al was born in Costa Rica and shared a wealth of information on our drive from the airport in San Jose to our hotel in La Fortuna. We even stopped for lunch. Our flight arrival was 12:47 in the afternoon and we arrived at our hotel at 4:45. Communication by ILT was perfect in confirming our arrival and departure. $356 for round trip from San Jose airport to La Fortuna. Eddie was our return driver and was equally enjoyable to visit with. In fact, we talked the entire 3 hours. He stopped to offer a bathroom break. Highly recommend this transportation service.

I had a last minute issue trying to arrange a shuttle from Playa Hermosa to Liberia. ILT Costa Rica saved the day. Their whole team (customer support, operations and the driver) was amazing and the best part, they took credit cards. I will be using them when I come back!

Customer support was very helpful making sure I had scheduled enough time to arrive at the airport.
Our driver, Warner, was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about the area and we had an interesting conversation. He stopped along the route for us to get coffee and a nice breakfast. Most importantly, we arrived at the airport as scheduled.

My group of 4 people hired ILT for three private shuttle trips (Liberia Airport to La Fortuna, La Fortuna to Tamarindo, and Tamarindo to Liberia Airport). Each of the three different drivers were very polite and the service was always right on time. The shuttle was clean and comfortable. The price was comparable to other private transport options. Great communication via email and we were able to easily update trip pickup locations as needed. When we arrived at the airport ILT was waiting for us with our name on a sign. So easy to find! We would definitely recommend ILT and use them again for rides in Costa Rica!

If you go on their website they give you the exact cost for many of the popular destinations . They were within the same range as most of the companies but their service was exceptional.

The cost would be $235.00 USD per way. The drive takes about 4 hours.
All private transfers include a bilingual speaking driver, water bottle service, Wi-Fi service, and stops at your leisure for photographs, meals, or restroom breaks.
