The casino itself is beautiful but hte service is very bad. People working there are unfriendly. Because of covid19 restriction, they shut doors at 7pm.

The Casino is right next to the Sheraton, it's average size for Costa Rica, small for U.S. standards. They also have a walk up sportsbook in there, serve food and coffee. A big screen TV projector shows the major games right of a U.S. satellite setup.

Like the atmosphere here, this place makes the others look bad, they have live music that is usually very good. They have a restaurant on the hotel side with good food and you can bet a few games on the machines they have. I am a fan overall.

Giving the place a fair shot, we've been twice. The atmosphere is cold and uninviting. The staff were unfriendly and didn't really seem to care we were there. After over 1/2 hour, we had not even been offered a drink. The staff stands around the bar and ignores the customers. When I really wanted a drink, I went to the bar and asked. The look I got was priceless! Like... what? You want what? I was paying for a beer. Surly staff! The slot machines are so tight that it's a useless thing. We often go to casinos downtown. Will continue to do so, because although this is much closer to home, it sucks. Big time.

This casino is the worst i ever experienced in my entire life. The staff were arrogant and not well educated. The dealers try always to cheat you and also charge you 4% comission on your Credit card when you ask for cash, give me a break, this is totaly illegal. They also talked between them all night long and ignore totally the guests. They do not great you when they come to your table and not even talk to you. I think all the staff need to go back to a hospitality school and learn what customer services are. Watch you money and safety. Never again.
