We hired a car for the day and decided to take a trip up to the Belvedere lookout. The drive up the narrow twisty mountain road is an experience all unto itself. Once you reach the top (it is really 3/4 of the way up)...More

We took an ATV tour to this point. You can take other tours as well. Whatever you do, get there to see an amazing view of Moorea. A must see for the island!

We stopped here during an inland tour of Moorea that had us climbing seemingly vertical cliffs in the back of a tiny diesel pickup truck - bouncing and laughing uncontrollably between panic attacks. The view from the lookout is unsurprisingly spectacular and can be accessed...More

We did an E-Bike tour to the Belvedere Lookout. We really enjoyed taking in the views of Cook's Bay, Opunohu Bay, and Mt. Routi.

We rented a car from Alberta and drove to the Belvedere Lookout. It was such a stunning view. Very easy to get to. Along the way, be sure to stop at the little roadside stand for fresh pineapple juice, ice cream and jams.

In my opinion i would say it's to far to walk. In fact it would be a very expensive taxi ride. I would call them and ask about a shuttle.
