When we visited, there was only a “self-guided tour” available with little/no directions in English. We found the route but ended up leaving because we had seen two plaques with no English. It was essentially a chance to walk around the grounds but with no direction or explanation we found it disinteresting.
The on site store only had the sorbet and a set of items similar to what we’d seen in the souvenir shops – nothing special from the school. It was disappointing based on photos / reviews other has posted.

I bought many jam pots from this place, the best one was Tiare flower although they were all so delicious.

I always go there when I can to buy homemade jams at very good prices (around 500F each). Flavors depend on the season but my picks are 3 fruits (papaya, pinapple and banana), tiare, and guava. Sorbets are good to eat by the shack.
Don't forget your mosquito spray though!

You have to try the jam! There are so many flavor combinations you would never think of. We brought a sample pack home. Be sure not to open it though before going through customs

This place is a gem. We were fortunate to visit on their open house weekend and were blessed to taste and see all the local Tahitian food (ma'a Tahiti) and arts and crafts including ori Tahiti (traditional Tahitian dancing). It is on the way up to the Belvedere lookout and a must stop especially for their onsite/home made ice cream including famous Tahitian vanilla ice cream and tiare (Tahitian gardenia) ice cream! Their onsite jams and jellies are also a crowd pleaser! Loved it!

Their jams are soooooo delicious!!! Make sure you stop here on the way to Belvedair (sp?) viewpoint. They take cash only (they take USD), so bring some cash.

We made a stop here on our return trip coming down from Belvedere Lookout. Plenty of parking. The cafe bar was closed for lunch when we first arrived so we used the extra time to wander through the various fields of pineapples, limes, mangoes, and pamplemousse (grapefruit). The walk starts further down the main road, to the left. Very sunny so wear hat, sunscreen, etc.
Upon our return, we bought a serving of the BEST ginger sorbet we have ever tasted - so refreshing with a mighty “kick” from the ginger.

This is part of the school system on Moorea that teaches agricultural management and preservation. There are various tourist and educational tour concepts that can be experienced there and it's worth it no matter which one you decide to do. You can also just stop by if are not part of an organized group. Fresh ice cream and jams for sale/sample as well. If you can afford the extra weight in your luggage, get several jars. They don't ship and you will have to wait until your next trip to get more!

We stopped here on a tour to try the local pineapple which was simply amazing. You’ve never tasted pineapple this sweet. It is a school location presumable to learn how to grow fruits including pineapple. Nearby are vast pineapple plantations which are amazing in themselves. They make fruit ice cream which is also served fresh. It’s interesting that this is merely a vocational school to continue to encourage the agricultural scholarship necessary to produce terrific fruit. It’s well worth your time for a visit.

On our way to Belvedere Mountain lookout we stopped at Lycee to see what they had. To our surprise we tried the different jams that they have to offer and purchased the variety pack and 2 large jars. They have vanilla beans for sell and had there ice cream. A nice place to refresh and have something cold to eat or drink.

Bonjour,
