Mike and his team had the best kiting vibe to it. With Mike being a qualified instructor himself, then having another 2 instructors, Chris and Jennifer, being qualified instructors and having taught all over the world, helps you learn at a fast pace. His lunches are what everyone says to be the best food on the island, which is something... More

We left it late in the season, so it wasn't the perfect kiting conditions, but we were never going to let that spoil it for us. Mike and his team's total commitment to getting people out there meant we were able to make the most of every opportunity. Behind the very laid back attitude lies an attentive concern for the... This year was my second time kiting in Aitutaki, and being an utter beginner last year I've been able to make great progress due to good wind for days on end. Perfect conditions for beginners (anyone can learn it there!) or advanced kiters: ankle to waist deep water surrounding the island, it can't seem to ever get too crowded, also... More

My wife and I had a little over a week in Aitutaki recently which was our first visit and most certainly won't be our last. It's simply a beautiful place with super friendly people and some of the best kitesurfing in the world. I've kited for a few years but my wife is just starting out so it was a... More

Aitutaki has got to be the ultimate place to kiteboard in the Pacific.I'm from Sydney and I've kited in Hawaii,Tahiti,Phuket and Hua Hin.I loved the perfect water, views and wind that prevailed during our stay. The kiteboard schools are well set up at Honeymoon Island(only 2),with plenty of very safe water to learn in,with great options for advanced riders too(though not for... I had the pleasure of visiting Aitutaki now 3 times and Mike is always the most wonderful kite school and boat tour operator here. The nature and turquoise waters of honeymoon island at Aitutaki is truly majestic. What can I say, perfectly clear waters, coral sand bottom, shallow, warm, beautiful, everywhere you look is an immaculate view, unique and not... More

If you have ever thought it might be cool to try kitesurfing, then do not hesitate to give Mike a call. Mike is a bright, friendly chap, and will do his best to teach you and help keep you safe. This is one of the best places to kitesurf in the world, however the real beauty is that this is... More

We went to Aitutaki to kite for the first time in August. Our hotel hooked us up with Mike Lee and we went out on his boat nearly every day. Mike takes you out on his boat, cooks up lunch, teaches or arranges lessons, has extra gear to rent, and generally sets the tone for what might be the very... More

My wife and I stayed in Aitutaki for 2 weeks in Sept 2015 and we kited with Mike Lee whenever the wind is up, which is about half of the time. As a kitesurf instructor and tour boat operator, Mike is as relaxed, patient, unassuming, safe, and professional as we have ever come across (and believe us, we had more... More
