We have been to the lagoon twice now, and I would love to come back again. I could look out at the lagoon forever, and it is the most peaceful and beautiful place in the world we have found.

If you get to the Cook Islands, be sure to visit Aitutaki and take a lagoon cruise. There are many operators. We prefer the smaller operators for a more personal touch and more focus on the lagoon and snorkelling rather than a party. This lagoon...More

What a wonderful experience. As my husband said "I can't believe I swam in the Blue Lagoon" The staff on board the boat was great and lots of fun and interesting information.

You must go on a lagoon cruise here if you visit the cooks, either with a day trip or a longer stay.The water is so clear and beautiful colours.So many islands to visit and great snorkelling. The fish life is amazing and it is safe...More

East coast extends down from the airport, water taxi across to resorts on separate island. Here, the lagoon is geared up for impressing with its pure white sand and crystal clear waters. Ideally suited for swimming. West coast is rather different are more physically engaging....More

The lagoon cruise we went on was the Thvaca which stopped multiple times for snorkeling, swimming, tropical lunch. everywhere we went was beautiful and the water warm and clear. we saw giant clams, and so many lovely fish and corals.
