It was not the day we expected, was promised, what we paid for, and definitely not the day we wanted. From the beginning I knew this was not going to be good. For one its this slow old tug boat. We got there and the Skipper didnt even ask for our names! We asked for his and that was it.... More

I contacted Seafari before I went to Rarotonga and received a very prompt reply organizing a couple of options. When I arrived in Rarotonga I was contacted by Sharon and a date and time was organised. Unfortunately the other participants withdrew and that day had to be postponed and it was organised that I would go fishing on the Sunday.... More

Great day out and hosts were great. Not much action until the final 15 minutes where we pulled up a good size Yellow Fin Tuna. This was filleted for us and we took what we needed. Delicious wraps provided too. If you are after a game fishing charter choose Seafari.

Thanks again to the great crew from Seafari for two more enjoyable trips out on the lovely waters of Rarotonga. The fishing was harder than the last times I was on board but all the crew ( Sharon, Kevin and Nui ) are always very friendly and helpful, but Kevin and Nui next time I am on board don't leave... I've never been big game fishing before so was a little unsure what to expect. Much of the time was trawling the ocean trying to find fish and catch a bite. Once there was a bite, one of us would hop up to the line and try reel it in. Unfortunately we only got 3 bites (and 3 beautiful fish)... More

Deep sea fishing can be a once in a lifetime opportunity for some. When you spend a lot of money to get out there and you are then hardly spoken to, must drag conversation out of your hosts it can be a bit of a let down. There were 5 of us we caught 3 fish. They were indeed 3... More
