The Whale and Wildlife Centre was really interesting with lots of things to look and to touch. We enjoyed it when the fish were fed, especially the stone fish.

While the center is somewhat small it is packed with examples of sea life. It is a hands-on exhibit so good for all ages. I loved the video that was playing. It named the various fish as they appeared swimming within camera range.

We learned so much from the lady running the place we didn't actually go into the exhibition. Learned more in half an hour in there than the rest of the week in Rarotonga!

A Whale and wildlife centre a mile from the sea may seem a strange concept but this is a worthy venture. More information about whales in a small building than you could ever need. A small movie room showing research videos. Fish tanks. A Stonefish...More

Loved stopping here, great for kids and adults alike. One entry ticket remains valid for your full stay in Raro. Favourite was the live crabs.

Loads of information about the local area and wildlife. It is looking a feeling a bit tired but the people are very friendly and there are plenty of hands on things in the centre.

We were impressed with the whale displays and information as we had spotted several whales frolicing close to the island, so we could learn about them. Also great for kids as they had feeding of different small species in tanks.

We were in Rarotonga for a week and as active relaxers we needed to do lots to fill our time, the whale and wildlife centre was one of those. Very educational and touching the turtle shells, shark jaws and many other things is encouraged. Lots...More

Did this on our last day and am pleased I didn't overlook it, the exhibits were interesting and varied, the place isn't big but they have made the most of what they have, would recommend it to others.
