Stopped in to check it out, has a lot of unique items in the store. Did notice that the prices were high. Had bought fireweed honey in Ketchikan for $7.99, was priced at $12.99 here. Fun to look around at the items. Unique store for...More

Unique gift items and good ice cream. We loved the insects and animals in the front of the store. Worth a stop for sure

This is basically just a tourist trap. The gift shop sells mostly cheap souvenirs made everywhere but Alaska. A taxidermy 'exhibit' in the back features poor quality specimens in an un-naturalistic setting. I didn't even see any examples of knotty wood available for purchase. Very...More

Different shop, lots on offer. Lovely to Brouse. Interesting knotty creatures out front to take photos of. I am anti fur so not much fun for me as lots of skins and stuffed birds for sale. However the ice cream was delicious. Quiet a few...More

Unique gift shop along the Richardson Hwy. One of a kind handcrafted Alaska made gifts and collectables. One end of the shop houses an extensive taxidermy display of Alaskan animals. An ice cream shop within the building is a bonus.

If you're going to the Santa Claus house, you might as well visit this place too. It was a short drive away. When I was first told about this place I thought it was a place selling knots (ie those you make out of string),...More

This is just one of those great places that you just have to visit. Lots of great items made from burls. Spend 5 minutes or 50 minutes. Friendly staff. I just can't drive by without stopping.
