I bought a mug from here about a year ago and I still use it every day - the pottery here is creative, fresh, and true to the Homer spirit. If you're passing through town, you should definitely visit - you'll be inspired.

This small shop is definitely worth a visit whenever you’re on the Homer Spit! It’s chock full of pottery pieces made by talented local folks, and you’ll find something for any taste here :))). It’s a co-op as well, so your purchases go directly to the artists (versus a broker)... the selection changes frequently, so stop by to see what’s new at the Jars of Clay... enjoy!

Jars of Clay is located on Main Street, sort of behind the Homer Theatre on Pioneer Avenue, so I think occasionally it is overlooked. No one who has any interest in excellent pottery should pass by without stopping in for a look. Our home now is filled with works from this potter, and the coffee/tea mugs truly are excellent. We love the handle style on useful mugs, and we use them every day. Prices are good, and service excellent, so don't miss this potter's shop, even though you may have to look a bit to find it.

Homer is well known for its art, and a great place to see (and acquire) ceramic works is at this place on the Homer Spit :)). One of the artists will be on hand to chat with, as you browse the excellent collection of delightful pieces (a number of which adorn our own home). New items arrive constantly, so be sure to check back frequently... enjoy!

Some people have all the talent! The pottery in this little shop is great! Fun to look at, and the prices aren't too bad for the amount of work it probably takes to make each piece.
