always helpful staff willing to hold open the gates of knowledge for all who pass. Great reading nooks, plenty of bandwidth.

The library was a nice quiet place to spend a few hours during our visit to Homer. Secure internet and books for sale too

Came into town late one evening. Arrived from the lower 48 so no cell coverage with data. Therefore headed to the library for a WiFi connection to check out things to do / places to stay. Unfortunately, the library turns off WiFi when closed. Odd. I've never observed a library shutting off access to the Internet. Usually, libraries are about... More

We just needed to look up some things online and we got a free 30 minutes CPU and Internet access. We perused some of the books in the non-fiction section and were pleased with what we found.

A big community effort went into building this library which opened in 2006. You will love the relaxed atmosphere inside. A separate children' s section is glassed in and has computers for the kids. The library also has WiFi and nice cubicles to sit and get on your laptop if you have one or use the library computers. A large... More

We went here primarily to print boarding passes, but were very impressed by this lovely, art-filled library. The weather was so perfect during the 2 weeks we were there that I didn't want to spend time indoors, but if it had been rainy I would have enjoyed spending a day at this library. Very impressive!

I always try to visit other librarys when traveling. Although I did not get a chance to visit inside, the building is new and beautiful.

This is a beautiful new library. I spent a few quiet hours working there between meetings. There is a large collection of reading materials, a variety of seating, including small semi-private 2-person alcoves along the windows. The artwork is delightful and nicely integrated into the architecture.

This library is friendly, quiet, a wonderful get-away and has an incredible book sale every year! There is something for everyone at the book and media sale. One year, I visited the book sale and filled my reading list for a YEAR!
