Our kayaking base camp is located on the south side of Kachemak Bay in outer Peterson Bay. We have day trips and overnight packages available at this location. The site is off the road system and accessible by our water taxi. We located our business site at our house address in Homer as we could not put our real business location on Trip Advisor map without a street address.

Overall we had a positive experience because Katchemak Bay is amazingly beautiful, and we had beautiful weather. However it got off to a bit of a rough and rude start from the owner Susan who told our group that some of us would have to...More

Dear Sara, I am responsible for asking Susan to urge double kayaks as we do so everyday for a variety of reasons. Double kayaks are more stable for beginners, roomier for larger paddlers, less tiring on a full day trip and convenient for photographers. Many...More

Your best bet is to check out their website (google st augustines sea kayaking homer) and then email Scott (via details on the site) - he was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions.
