If you are a fan of a certain crab fishing program on TV, then you must know of the “Duck Fart”. It wasn’t invented here, but it was certainly made famous at the Salty Dawg. Nice selection of local brews (bottles only, no draft) and...More

Stopped in for a drink at this iconic bar on the homer spit. Very small but still found a place to sit. Drinks were great. Lots of souvenirs to choose from if you want them.

We enjoyed looking around each room of this iconic landmark. Check out the big and well-organized selection of tshirts, sweatshirts, hats, coozies and more. Beer is all bottled, no draft. Enjoyed talking with the bar tender. Love the exterior.

We stopped in just before a band was starting. There were about 20 people in the bar. Service was average and drinks were average. We asked one question about the area and got an eye-roll and mumbling from the bartender. We put up our dollar...More

Can’t go to Homer Spit without visiting The Salty Dawg Saloon. It was a very unique & interesting bar. There are dollar bills hanging around all over and plenty of interesting things to look at all over the bar. The two women tending bar were...More

This is a fun small bar frequented by locals and tourists. It is decorated floor to ceiling with dollar bills which is a novelty and says something about a trustful clientele. The beer selection is very limited.

Had a great time after each day of fishing. Left our signed dollars on the walls. Great service and we had a great time with the staff. Thanks

Fun stop. Two visits, one on a busy Friday afternoon the other a quiet Sunday morning. Excellent spicy bloody Mary’s and fun merchandise. Cash only. The dollar bills pinned inside are plucked annually and given to local charities. Well done!

I don't know about kids. Didn't see any when we were there. No food. It is definitely a dive bar.
