We came here with a cruise ship tour and were not sure what to expect. What an awesome surprise this was. The art is wonderful, the homestead well preserved and admission is free. Donations are appreciated. Plan on at least an hour to enjoy Lowell's...More

We drove by the sign on the way to Homer, but our B&B owner related the quality and significance, along with the homestead site. Because it was close and mostly for the homestead site, we popped in one day and we were so glad we...More

This is a great place to visit near Homer. The art is very nice and the artist lives there. We were fortunate to meet him the day we visited. Worth a stop.

This man represents the true Alaskan artist and his many works are beautiful. You also get an opportunity to see other local artists work displayed with his.

Although this gallery has MANY of Lowell's paintings and is free, his art is overrated, in my opinion, and the visit was a waste of time. Visit the quality galleries and museums in Homer instead.

Mr Lowell and his family are so charming and friendly. Paintings are beautiful images of the spectacular beauty of Alaska. I can't wait to hang our purchase at home for a daily reminder!

A person could spend many hours admiring the paintings. Not until the end of the gallery is anything for sale. It was a little difficult finding the dirt drive to the gallery. The sign has brush growing in front of it. It is near the...More

Mr Lowell’s art work is simply amazing. The gallery is off the beaten path but well worth the visit. It is free to visit and worth an hour or two of your time. Highly recommend this gallery.
