If you have the time, this hike is very rewarding, it is over an hour of gradual climb (and can be muddy and slippery) but Alaska is about adventure! Save yourself the money and do the hike for the view!

Beautiful vertical hike of about 1800 feet elevation. Nice variety of pacific rainforest plants, varied mushrooms, berries, massive trees. Beautiful photo vistas and thankfully, resting areas as you go. Came down in torrential downpour and still beautiful....bring poncho, rain can come anytime. Can be muddy, have good hikers....and water with you.
