Spectacular scenery and so many eagles! Truly a gift to experience the beauty of the glacier. Great trails and boardwalk.

All the helicopter rides to the Mendenhall Glacier were sold out, so I went to the Visitor Center. The Center had several good presentation and a lot of good displays. Also had really good views of the Glacier.

It is not far from city center; however, it was a rainy day when we went and difficult to see but you can tell how massive it is even so. Recommend going on a clear day so you can also hike to the falls.

Very small and not a lot of info in this visitor center. They do have the stamps for your passport, but get out and talk the walk to the glacier!
