The Juneau library is extremely convenient//right downtown, near the tram. Cheerful, airy, very welcoming and helpful. The architecture outside is delightful; helps to make Juneau more fun. Nice garden areas.

A nice relaxing place to sit while you use your free hour of wifi. Wifi also works outside close to the library.

Within walking distance of the dock. A great little library with the added bonus of wifi. The librarian is a true fountain of local knowledge.

The staff was very welcoming, were were able to use the computers. However, the library is not air conditioned and Juneau was having a heat wave. There is however a balcony on the water side which is lovely, cool and we enjoyed the scenery while taking a rest.

The free wifi was why we visited. The staff was so friendly and gracious. A true gem for the city of Juneau.

For a small city, the Juneau library is great! The building is attractive & the collection is very nice, with plenty of Alaska themed books, as you would expect, but also with a full range of "normal" books. There was a nice reading area as well. It would be a great place to spend a dreary winter day.

This library is at the top of a parking deck and has a wonderful view overlooking the Juneau Harbor. A wall of windows facing the harbor gives a wonderful view. We initially got confused entering the elevator and went to the top floor of the parking deck. Then it dawned on us--duh--that we had to hit the button labeled "L."
We were not the only ones confused about this!
After wandering around Juneau on a rainy day awaiting the boarding of our cruise, we were delighted to find the view, a place to dry off, free WiFi and clean restrooms. The staff was very gracious about the influx of visitors.
We could see a great looking children's area with giant stuffed animals in the corner--with restricted entry for those with children only. We had no children with us, but it would be a great place to bring kids for a break from adult-type shopping and sight seeing.

Access is via lift. The staff were friendly and helpful and we used the internet on their computers for an hour, much better than using a phone, quick and no charge, but suggest you leave a donation.

When we exited our cruise ship, there are residents handing out maps. I asked about the best place to get wifi access, and we were told to go to the library because most of the cafes will only let you access their wifi for about 15 minutes. The library is not far from the docks and the staff are extremely helpful. They allow you to use their wifi for an hour which worked great for us. Thank you!!
