While most of the time we were there it was under cloud, the views were spectacular when the cloud did clear. There was an eagle housed at the top who could no longer live in the wild & we saw squirrels. We didn't take advantage of the walking tracks because the weather wasn't conducive to hiking but could imagine three... More

It was wicked and reasonably priced! Lots of eagle spotting and a bit of shopping and more mad views at the top, plus a gorgeous resident rescue bald eagle called Lady Baltimore! Think it's like 1800ft well worth the money for an all day pass :))

Located footsteps from the major Cruise Line ships, this is the area's number one attraction. From the mountaintop, you get a grand view of the bay area and from here, you can take a small loop hike or something more strenuous with greater elevation. The round trip fare is for the whole day, but is $33 worth it!??? That is... More

The tram gives you an excellent view of the town of Juneau and surrounding areas. You will enjoy it more on a clear day but even on a cloudy day it is still worth the trip.

This was the smoothest and safest tram I have been on, the operators are very informative and friendly. It was very reasonably priced and you could ride it as many times that day as you wanted, which paid off because I had to get a different size shirt at the gift shop so I rode it again back up. Great... More

I had read that you could spend hours here. I'm not sure what you would do for that length of time. The view of Juneau was wonderful but the Nature Center was a gift shop. There was one disabled bald eagle in a cage outside and a second gift shop in the main building. The movie was just a slide... More

Entrance near the cruise terminal , it was a beautiful clear day so the ride up and down were brilliant , once up there we did one of the shorter woodland walks that were recommended , we also had a very informative chat with the lady who was looking after the bald eagle Lady Baltimore that day. The views are... More

Had a good time, on a rainy day in May, taking this Tram up the Mountain. The Tram operator was local person, who shared some great information

If you are travelling on a cruise ship then you virtually fall in to the entrance when you arrive so don't do what we did and book early. We were lucky as the clouds cleared while we were on the mountain, but before that it was just pure cloud. Once it did clear the views were lovely and ever changing.... More
