We took the Orca Odyssey with Capt Larry and had a wonderful whale watching experience. Not long after leaving they found a small pod of Orcas for us to see including a few mom and baby pairs and a male. After a short cruise further we had the joy of watching a beautiful humpack whale for about 45 minutes. It... More

We went out with Captain Bill on a beautiful clear sunny day. there was only 27 of us on the boat so it was easy to move around. Not long after we arrived at the prime spot we were in for a great treat. We were following a pod of about 26 Orca's, which also included a mother with her... More

When I arrived in Juneau last July, the first activity to do was to go whale watching. With Orca Enterprises, their van picked me up at my hotel; and in about 15 minutes later, we were at the boat dock to venture out. About 18 Humpback whales (some with calves) were spotted and photographed. The boat is powerful and a... More

We booked this tour privately as our NCL cruise ship docked in Juneau, and based on a recommendation we pre-booked this tour. It is definitely worth booking to go on board with Captain Larry. The head office is less than 5 minutes from the central port, so is within easy distance. As other reviewers have mentioned, the whales are so... More

Oh what a wonderful time we had on our Orca boat, seeking the whales in Juneau. We opted for this private tour rather than taking the one offered by our cruise ship, and we were so gald that we did. He brought us up so much closer than the much larger boat occupied by the cruise ship passengers. The captain... More

We chose Orca based on other reviews and we are glad we did. Everything was smooth from meeting at the office to the trip to the glacier to whale watching and back to the office, even on a rainy day. Whale watching was the highlight of the trip. Captain Larry knows his stuff and seemed to be ahead of the... More

Okay! you are going on an Alaskan Cruise with a stop in Juneau. If you have never been whale watching, this trip is a must. Bring a camera. We had ours on August 22nd. Captain Larry. The Guy knows his stuff. He even knows them by name. Rachel was great in explaining when to press onthe camera shutter to get... More

A very knowledgeable crew made this experience enjoyable. Our group was able to observe two different groups of humpbacks bubble net feeding. Other animals observed included harbor seals, sea lions, and bald eagles. Descriptions of the surrounding land masses and man made structures made the trip even more interesting.

We saw so so so many whales. Nice friendly staff, not crowded at all, and there was a bathroom on the boat. They knew exactly where to go and we're just as excited as we were to see the whales. Best experience!

We went whale watching with Orca Enterprises and it was wonderful!! The boat captain got word of a pod of Orca's and away we flew...they were so close to the boat you could almost reach out and touch them. The naturalist onboard was very knowedgeable and she answered all of our questions. We were dropped off at the Mendenhall glacier... More
