An unassuming small park next to the salmon hatchery. Nothing special, but a nice place to sit and have some lunch in peace. In season there are salmon in the stream. The walk up from the cruise ship berths is also interesting, and not far.

The city park in Ketchikan is very beautiful and well maintained, with lots of greenery. Unfortunately we could not wait long, due to lack of time, as we were on a cruise and time was limited.

What a nice Park. It has a number of natural water features. A great place to just stop and sit for a bit. You could see that is would be a great place for the locals to come for a picnic.

The Totem center is awesome with some very unique poles in the building. The walking path with a view of the salmon when spawning and the unique fish ladders for them is a great way to spent some time. Walking the path will also take you the the Creek area at the bottom of the walk and it brings you right back into town. Recommend it!…

We visited here on a day tour of Ketchikan. It's not a lot of acreage, but its quite beautiful. It is one of the original, if not the original, spot where salmon were first "farmed" by the indiginous people some 400 years ago (IIRC). Bordering that park is a building where injured bald eagles are rehabilitated. Great spot to visit.…
