This is a must do/bucket list trip when you're in Ketchikan. Research non-cruise line trips and you'll find better deals and longer flights.

It’s a long boat ride, two hours out, two hours back, but I wouldn’t have missed it for the world! The Boat Ride was thrilling and scenic. A LARGE Whale breeched, feet from the boat. Clam chowder or chili were served. Hot chocolate and coffee...More

Awe-inspiring seems trivial to describe the beauty of the fjords. Perhaps it is the mist that adds to the magic. Even in May it was chilly, but so worth the experience. Being in a seaplane allowed us a view not available on land. We were...More

My wife and I took the float plane trip to Misty Fjords with Island Wings. Our pilot and owner, Michele, was fantastic. I highly recommend Island Wings.

Beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of nothing. The time from Ketchikan by boat is a little bit long but worth it! This was a true gem. Nature and colors are amazing, the views spectacular, especially if you have a sunny day. Our boat...More

It is along 4.5 hr boat ride and you stay on boat. Snack and drinks are available. Sights are pointed out and historic reference. You could become bored. I rated 5 because the boat and people were great. There is no guarantee you will see...More

As many people have said, this little excursion was too long, especially in the rain. Because of the rain, though, the waterfalls were many and gorgeous. But after you've seen 50 waterfalls you're kind of over it. Also because of the rain the condensation on...More

Took a excursion from cruise ship, it was about 1-1/2 hour too long, total excursion was 4-1/2 hours of seeing nothing but cliffs and trees. Saw an eagle in tree and that was the only widlife we saw. Was a beauiful day, sunny and warm...More

Saw the Fjords from the air. Was a once in a lifetime experience. Majestic is definitely the word for this. The granite cliffs flying up through the Fjords were spectacular. A must see in Alaska.

We had wonderful weather and spent most of the trip outside on the boat. Seeing this area where our big cruise ship could not go was worth the cost to us. Glaciers, waterfalls, seals; really breathtaking. Like our other cruise ship tours, I do not...More

Misty Fjords is beautiful. We were anchored there in the morning when we woke up. Calm, mirror-like water, mist on top of the mountains. We were on a small ship (40 passengers) and some people were able to kayak and... More
