Potlatch is located right next to Totem Bight. We were not part of a guided tour, and didn't find any maps or guides, so we wandered through at our own pace. It is similar to Totem Bight with totems, a meeting house, and a building for new totems being made, but Potlach had additional buildings (only viewable from the outside).... More

It is a quiet peaceful 1/2 walk during the winter. Took some current pictures. I have been bringing people here for 15 years when they visit. My favorite tourist location.

the park is adjacent to Totem Bight, take the path to the left of the entranced and walk past the gift shop to enter the park. There was no charge for the park. The clan house is beautiful, be sure to go inside. Walk the grounds and see the amazing poles as well as an antique car museum which was... More

This excursion was great. Ed the driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable about the totem poles and the stories they tell. I recommend this tour for everyone that visits Ketchikan.

Potlatch Park is owned by a private person who has chosen to share his collections and resources with the public. Thank you very much for being so generous. The cars on display and gun collections were very interesting. The wood carvers shop is a true testament to the carvers awesome talent. He was not there the day we were but... More

we booked a private guided tour with KTCT Ketchikan tours. Dave took us to this fantastic old fishing ground of the Tlingit Natives where we experienced and admired the beautiful carved totem poles. He told us about the meaning of the poles, showed us the beautifyul clan house and carvery. I highly recommend a visit.

We were on a boat tour of the wildlife and waterway environment north of Ketchikan and came across the Totem park. Our tour guide (Captain Jeff of Lighthouse, Totems, and Eagles Excursions), spent time pointing out the history of the park and maneuvered his craft in order to get great pictures of the community house and the totems in the...
