We had a quick stop in at the museum and learnt a lot about Alaskan history and the local area. Well worth the $5 and a great stop out of the rain!

We decided to stop by the Discovery Center as we had a lot of extra time on our hands due to a cancelled excursion. The building is pretty cool inside and the Junior Ranger program and scavenger hunt kept the kids(9 & 6) busy. Be sure to bring your Free Parks pass if you have a 4th grader for free admission!

We stopped here while on our cruise. Well worth the $5.00 admission, it was a quiet morning there, we watched a wonderful film and walked around the centre. We spent about an hour there but wished we had more time to really take it in.

This was another part of our tour Saxman village, totem park, and the lumberjack show. They put us in a room to make a bead necklace. My string was so short it didn’t fit around my neck. They had some children doing native dances in another room, but we went to lunch instead. I’m sure someone had a good time, but they weren’t in our group.
