This was a nice stop, small but very informative heritage center. If was also on our way to a Deer Path hiking trail. If you are just walking around then I would recommend this stop.

I actually was looking for the Totem Park, but after walking to where I thought was it, I ended up at the Totem Heritage Center. What a beautiful mistake! :-) Loved this place! A must visit for sure!

This building is lovely inside and out. There are ramps and restrooms that make it accessible, but the huge heavy doors provide a barrier for some. Inside the artwork is incredible; ancient totem poles, modern sculpture, textile art, even a full size dug-out style canoe from a single piece of wood. All very impressive and authentic. The first museum that I have been to in the world where they did NOT try to sell visitors trinkets!! Cost $6 so reasonable!…
