While in Ketchican I highly recommend visiting Dolly's House. It is a short walk from the cruise port and is worth the time. It cost $10 a person to enter. There is a few ladies who are dressed up on old fashion clothing and tell you stories how Dolly was. It is neat to hear the stories on how she became who she was. They were very informative. The museum has some much of her things in it which is really. Love her stove!!!! it We really enjoyed talking to the staff and so we spent about an hour maybe a little bit more there.…

The tour of Dolly's House was a hoot. The original items in the museum were really something. The signage, gift certificate and shower curtain decorations will make you laugh out loud. Pay the small admission price and have fun!!

A well maintained house of a prostitute, named "DOLLY" who lived many years ago. Its a fun place as you get to know about Dolly & her antics. It has many interesting tales connected to Dolly who lived their till she was 72 years. This place is on Creek st, & cannot be missed.

Well worth the $10 entry fee. The ladies are dressed up and start you off on your tour telling you about the infamous ‘Dolly’ and how she started her business on Creek Street. You then do a self guided tour through her house. There are videos in the main room telling you about the house and the activities of Dolly. You see the trapdoor for receiving illegal booze, the hidey holes for the booze. The waiting room for the men, the entrance from married mans trail and much more. I loved the flowers on the bathroom shower curtain and seeing all Dolly’s clothes and the way the house has been preserved. You wouldn’t spend more than 15-20 minutes here but it was a great little place to see.…

A lady dressed in a gold rush era costume is out front, cajoling customers to pay and enter. 10 bucks, why not? The hostess gives you some historical details, then you are off wandering to explore several rooms. They have left everything true to form from over a 100 years ago, which is good to give you a perspective of the times. Some risque decorating touches that are amusing, but so much seemed cluttered. It may have been a former brothel, but nothing seemed sexy about it. The difference between era, I guess. Worth your ti.e so you can make your own conclusions, but not if you are on an extreme budget. …
