Stopped by for a Duckfart shot and was greeted by the owners who are personable, welcoming and a good time. This stop helped round out our stop in Ketchikan. Has a “real” feel! A must stop.

Visited here for a lovely sunny afternoon out on the covered porch area. Great atmosphere and very lively. Just had a couple of drinks but the "captain" looked after us well.

Co-owner Paula welcomed us like we were family and kept us entertained while we drank great beer, had fresh halibut fish and chips that were delivered from next door, and updated from the bars WiFi after being on a ship without communication for a week....More

I search out dive bars, this place was a bit nicer than a dive but the atmosphere is right on. I love Happy Bears

Between the humping bear statues and $3 Bloody Mary sign we couldn’t help but stop in and see what the Artic Bar was about. We were in for a real treat! Paula, the owner and bartender, made us a mean Bloody Mary and we immediately...More

Place is dock side also cruise ships. The have supposedly great bloody Mary's mild medium or spicy. Cheap select 3.50 pint. People were also eating clam chowder.

Seriously in need of a Bar rescue. If you expect nothing then you won't be disappointed. They have a great slogan and location but seriously lost potential. We were here in 2012 before a shabby redo and it was much better. We were on a...More

A bar that reminded me of Michigan’s U.P. Bars, rustic, not much in the way of service (I had to clear my own table), with draft and beer in the can. The food was typical bar food quality, I had a shrimp basket and onion...More

Home of the Happy Bears logo and mascots. This place has been there since I lived there beginning in 1980 and hadn’t been back in over 30 years. It is still on the waterfront with a view and a covered porch

I stopped here on my way back to the cruse ship. I had heard about the "happy bears". Figured I would give the place a try. It is a very fun atmosphere. It was somewhat crowded due to the number of cruise ships in port...More

Hi - I am not sure - it was my first time there. I think they have a Facebook page and they might be able to answer that for you there. Good luck and keep traveling!

The Arctic is located directly off of Berth 3 on the cruise ship docks. The back deck faces Berth 3 - right next to Sockeye Sams and across the street from Burger Queen.
