Captain Jared was awesome! Even though we were there at end of the salmon season he worked hard to make sure we caught fish and had a great time! He met us at the cruise ship when it docked and was short walk to his beautiful fishing boat. Had a great day and caught silver salmon! Thank you!

Our cruise ship docked at Ketchikan on Wed 8/30. Our day began with brilliant blue skies and warm temps. As promised, Capt. Jarred met us at the end of our cruise ship gangway with a white board with my name on it. From there it was a very short walk to his boat. After looking at our pre-purchased fishing licenses... Captain Jared is the best. Friendly and made the trip fun. Put us on the fish right away and we caught a limit of pinks and some silvers. He took care of everything including having the fish processed and shipped. Fish with him!!!!

While in Ketchikan for the week with friends, we knew we needed to experience salmon fishing. Upon recommendation of a friend, we booked an excursion with Rainy Day Charters. Not being a fisher-person, myself, and being prone to motion sickness, I was skeptical, to say the least. Our group caught seventeen pink salmon with only four of the five actually... More

Great day, only kept one but catch and properly released made it the best day. The skipper called an Eagle and we fed one of our fish to it. I didn't think it was possible but the photo clearly shows this. This was one of the best trips ever. I would recommend Jared for his knowledge, commitment, to customers and... More

Jared was great to fish with. His boat is set up very well and he is a super nice guy who knows the area very well. While the day started out a bit slow, he got us in the area for both halibut and salmon. My son, who hadn't fished much, had a blast catching a bunch of fish. Thanks... More

We had the most wonderful fishing trip ever!! All 5 in our group caught the limit for Halibut, and did well with salmon too! But what really made the fishing so awesome was Captain Jared. He was very professional, well organized, and easy-going. He was quick with setting up our lines and quick and precise with the gaffe or net... More
