This is hands down the rowdiest tour in Alaska! Rugged Woodsmen compete in 16 events that are part of the rich logging history of Ketchikan, Alaska. The competition is located in the historical downtown just one block of the the cruise ship dock. This competition features current lumberjack athletes who are recognized in the professional sport and travel the world. Thrilling events such as log rolling, chopping, sawing, axe throwing combined with local stories give our guests a glimpse into the wild world of the Alaskan Lumberjack. Fun for all ages and groups of any size. 500 covered, heated and cushioned seats with concessions a authentic Alaskan gift shop gift. Don't miss the axe-tion!

A fun and entertaining show with some very talented lumberjacks. The lumberjacks "compete" in several events with the audience cheering on their "team". The events require skill and it's amazing to watch the lumberjacks chop, climb, and roll. We all loved it!

If this is your first experience with logging events, it's worth the time. Our local state fair has this kind of competition every year so it wasn't new to us and while others have said it's good "family fun" we found that the balance of...More

Granted, this is a bit of a stretch in terms of historic accuracy, but it is very entertaining and the performers do a really good job with demonstrating skills that were a must in days gone by. I would strongly encourage you to take this...More

Do not book as a shore excursion. Almost always a space available unless you are on a large ship. Very entertaining and a good stop if you cannot do a walking or wilderness tour.

Are there several shows a day? As I am taking my mom and she wants to do several tours while in town.

There are typically at least 2 shows per day/very busy when cruise ships are in town though, but worth your time.
