This is hands down as good as it gets. The tour guide was very hospitable. He had an awesome 4 X 4 with 38 inch tires to cross parts of the river and an airboat to get is up close and personal with the glacier. Just do it! You will be glad you did. His prices are very reasonable for... More

I've lived in Anchorage now for 5 years and hike, ski, mountain bike and snowshoe the Chugach Mountains all year 'round and am always looking for something new that I haven't seen. But every year I still come back and do this tour with the owner, Tom Faussett. I was introduced to him through a mutual friend years ago and... More

The trip out to the glacier by 4x4 and airboat was great fun. The trip out was full of moose sighting. The owner guide was full of information about the area. The land would look very different as the seasons change. Spectacular views even for Alaska. Will be back again.

My cousin and I were the first tour of the season and Tom was very helpful to accommodate us to my tight schedule. The experience is so worth it from the ride in the 4x4 Monster Truck to the ride on the boat until finally arrive to the Glacier. We were lucky to meet Gerry the squirrel and to share... More

The 44 inch tires on the 4X4 van were necessary due to the most water that Tom ever saw there. You ride in the van out to the boat which takes you for the amazing ride. It was my second time and the water was so much higher than the first time there that it was a little worrisome. We... More

What an amazing tour. Tom, the owner, is highly accommodating when he can and provides a terrific tour. We've taken family on the tour and they loved getting the chance to see a glacier so close. Tom has kayaks you can take out to paddle around in the calving ice. The glacier is shrinking. Come see it while you can!

Fantastic, well worth every dollar. Friendly host who is very informative and lovely to meet Gerry the squirrel who helped us to eat our trail mix at the half way break.

The ride in the army vehicle and on the air boat was really neat, went through rivers and creeks, rough ground but the ride was not too rough. About 6 miles on land and 6 miles on the water. Got to the lake and on the boats and went close to the icebergs in the water at the end of... More

There are many activities to chose from when one visits Alaska. This is an option not to miss! The entire time spent with Tom is educational, exhilarating and a true adventure! Tom is a man who knows what he is doing and his confidence is contagious. He's going to take you into the wilderness for an activity you've likely never... More

That a very well done tour that you can do in family, you will make a short trip of road that was nice and then a short ride on a boat to arrive the the glacier and be able to spend around 1 hour to walk to get different point of view or just stay to see the ice floating.... More
