Went to the Italian concession in Tianjin and had dinner at an Italian restaurant. Fun night, interesting historical site, harkening back to the continuous occupation of Tianjin by foreign powers in the 19th and 20th centuries. Well worth the visit.

that place is just represents everything that is wrong with china. Fake buildings with cheaply made facades for the Chinese tourists from the country. went to couple of restaurants around and was highly disappointed by the quality vs. pricing.

This Italian street was really pretty to look at and walk around, lots of cute little shops too. The food in the restaurants there is quite overpriced though, especially the western food so I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Chinese people love to visit this European style street in Tianjin but every time I have been I have found the food very average and way too pricey. The architecture is quite cool to se though.

Firstly it's a misnomer , there's nothing remotely Italian about the place except for an Italian restaurant of which we had the unfortunate experience of lunching at . With a very basic 'Italian ' menu and the most unpalatable pasta ever ! The supposed aglio olio dish was swimming in oil, and it wasn't even olive oil ! There is... More

So there is nothing much here except a lot of restaurants. The Italian bit means a lot of red brick walls and Some fancy sculptures. Personally I don't see what is Italian about it but can imagine that its a nice place to come to choose some restaurants

Comprised of a few blocks. I suppose it is different / unique but somehow misplaced in China. There are many restaurants to choose from.

I have been here multiple times for vacation as I live in a nearby city. I always return here in the summer months. A beautiful walking street!
