I visited Chateau de Loei around 15 years ago. Back then, vineyards in Thailand were a new thing and I found the (un-) guided tour very interesting. Over the recent years, vineyards (mostly what I consider fake ones) are all the craze around Pattaya and...More

Loved the freshness in every piece of its "giant" sized macademia nuts. A must buy! 500THB in a 500g glass container. Perfect as gifts. Did not try the wine though. It is located on our way to Phu Ruea National Park.

Visiting this place was a huge disappointment. It is old, dirty and not much to see. OK you can taste & buy some wine but is all folks!
