We stayed at the beautiful Sapa Clay house where we embarked on a 2 KM downhill scenic trek to Lin Ho Village of the Black H’mong. The scenery was beautiful as we passed small houses and terraced mountain farmlands. We ended in Lao Chai village where we were transported uphill back to Sapa Clayhouse.

Trekked to Y Linh Ho which is a Black H'mong Village, Amazing scenery and a wonderful hike with a guide. Really enjoyed the greenery and lush vegetation. This is part of the Trek into Lao Chai Village. The Trek was one of the highlights of our tour.

After a short trek we crossed a suspension bridge and arrived at this village. Very local but also touristy. Lots of gift shops selling local handicrafts. At the beginning of the trek we were swamped by local women trying to be nice, making small talks and wanting to sell their merchandise.

This was the most happy and exhilarating trek among my 4 days of trekking in Sapa;
trekked from Y Linh Ho to Giang Ta Chai waterfall... through Y Linh Ho.. then to Lao Cai.. then through the terraces overseeing Ta Van... then to Giang Ta Chai waterfall.
Solo trek! :) And also my first time trekking this route.
There was a main road axis with a few well built view points. Just before a particular view poiint, there was a road that turned down to Y Linh Ho village.
Follow that road down, and have a great time! :)

If you like to hike this place is for you! Hiked the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream down to the bottom. Wear good hiking shoes here, there is a higher chance of rolling an ankle is you take the short cuts. The short cuts are super fun and beautiful to take if you are up for it.

Totally worth doing the walk. Very varied, lots of pretty sights, streams to cross, mud paths to conquer. Interesting village life. W did the walk in about 6 hours including a leisurely lunch at a restaurant with a view - didn’t see any others during the walk. This is where everyone stops for lunch. Towards the end there are lots of lovely homestays that offer food and great coffee.

Y Linh Ho is a Black H'mong village in Sapa where you can see the most amazing rice terraces. This is a wonderful hiking place for tourists and to take great photos.
