Less touristy than the rest of Sapa, Taphin is a really lovely town. My husband tried their famed herbal bath and he said it was amazing.

You should be here! We came here and love it so much. Beautiful place and lovely people. But it's very touristy. Probably you will see more western people than the locals.

Your driver really needs a four wheel drive to survive the road. But it is worth to see how the local farmers live. Take a dump in a hot tub.

The area around Sa Pa is a great place for soft trekking, seeing some of the Hmong, Dao and Tay people's way of life

walk and meet ethnic minorities there. Beautyful landscapes, nice and real people living there. They'll smile to you just because they're happy to meet tourists.

The place appears to be somewhere in a dream to me. Beautiful mountains, paddy field and bamboo forest. You may meet friendly women offering the herbal bath, which is kinda famous. After all, I had a great day at Ta Phin.
