Dalyan has a beautiful Lake that leads to the Turtle Beach Area, sea and swimming in the thermal lake. Plenty of boats to hire for a whole days trip, plus a BBQ on boat. All part of the holiday. This is a must if you...More

Lots of tour boats come here, though I'm not sure how many focus on the nature here. But it was possible to see quite a lot of birds. The river is behind a sandbar that separates the sea from the river. There are turtles here,...More

Despite the water taxis and day trippers the Dalyan Delta remains clean, unspoilt and stunning. The local people make great efforts to keep the waterways clean and it really is rare to see any plastic in the water. The beach access is also closed off...More

I loved the way the mountains along the lagoon looked so peaceful and scenic. Our guide gave valuable information on the Lycian tombs, fishing 🎣 in the area, its rich history etc. It's beautiful 😍 to see the lagoon meet the sea. As soon as...More

This has been my second visit to Dalyan. I love the place especially because of the environment preservation. The nature and its surrounding is so spectacular! Mountains, hills, farms, fresh water lake, river and the beautiful beaches. More then anything I admire the people and...More

This is a very special area in a very special place and it is to the credit of the local community and national government that it remains carefully protected. A 'must visit' place in an increasingly mad world. Enjoy!

Take a co-operative boat trip down the river to the beach. Not to be missed. Fresh breeze, wonderful scenery, slow pace. At the beach, good facilities exist.

A group of 14 of us took a great boat ride, past turtle beach to the tombs and Dalyan. The trip was great, thoroughly recommend it, however, if your boat lingers, just behind turtle beach you are likely to be accosted by a chap, in...More

The best way to explore this area is by boat. Boats can be hired for a few hours or the whole day. They leave from the riverside in the centre of dalyan. I can highly recommend the boat owned by Akay. If you want more... More
