We went to visit knidos with our small kids. We really liked it. There is almost no tourists and it is a place with a great view. There is one small restaurant where we ate. The food was really good, but it was more expensive...More

Located right at the tip of the Datça peninsula and was well worth the drive. A most impressive and vast Greek archeological site with simply stunning views. A must to go and see with your own eyes and well worth the 12tl entry fee.

We travelled to Knidos from Datca on a boat called Badem 2. It was a wonderful day out.The scale of the ancient city is amazing for a location that seems quite remote. The double harbour unusual.

Knidos is always an attractive place to visit, despite it's not easy to reach there. But all the ruins and the calm sea in one of the two small bay is great to swim after you get sweat for walking among the ruins

We came by taxi so we could stop along the way to look for the dinosaur sinking into the sea. Knidos is still being excavated so not every where is accessible how ever paths are clearly marked and there are easy and difficult areas to...More

Paid 10 TRY (~1.8 USD) each to enter a place with nothing but semi-orginised rocks and stones. Got curious and learnt that the main Aphrodite statue was demolished(?) long ago (probably by invading Arabs as it was full naked) and golden/important/meaningful pieces were taken to...More

One of the biggest harbour of ancient world. Excavation still continiues, It is also most southwestern tip of Anatolia, You should take a walk to the light house to see Mediterrenean and Aegean at the same time.

Knidos is about an hour drive from Datca with winding, narrow roads, but some great views. The site has some restoration going on so you can't access all areas. A big lack of signs explaining what you are seeing. Still an impressive site with its...More

It's a short drive from Palamutbükü to Knidos, passing through a few villages and with amazing views. Knidos is right at the end of the peninsula, so you have views of both the Mediterranean as the Aegean sea, quite extraordinary. The ancient site is not...More

A daytripper boat with roughly 40 people aboard moored at the pontoon by the restaurant next to the site, so it must be possible to take a boat from Datca. Having said that, the boat got there around noon, when it is very... More
