Long white sand beach ("kitespot")

I was here on a empty sunny and super windy day. Super fun for kite surfing and there plenty of space on the sand to lay down and relax. Waves were really high and good and wind... read more

This is a great place to go as you will be away from all the noise at Praia do Forte. However, be careful as there are thieves along this beach.

Foguete Beach is between Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo and it is a perfect location, 10 mins drive to Arraial do Cabo and10 mins to Cabo Frio downtown. In addition, it is 30 mins to Buzios. This is the perfect location if you want peace and quiet.

Paradise! Good for surfers, wind surfers, kite surfers, beach goers in general, not crowded as the area to its left (Forte Beach), Foguete is great to unwind solo or with a family. Not many places to buy things so bring your drinks and please leave no trash behind. Nature thanks you!

I was here on a empty sunny and super windy day. Super fun for kite surfing and there plenty of space on the sand to lay down and relax. Waves were really high and good and wind was just right , but locals told there some super windy days so prepare your self. Couple restaurants and B&B along the street... More

This was an absolutely beautiful beach... An awesome combination of white sand with blue and green crystal ocean... The waves can get a little rough so attention on that point... Anyway... Awesome beach!!

The beach is very beautiful and clean. Almost desert (on autumn). The sea isn't recommended to little children.

The beach is a little further away from Cabo Frio, so it's quite secluded and clean. The waves are pretty strong, so it's not ideal for swimming.

Situated between Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo, Foguete beach is a white sand beach with cold, blue water. It does have some dangerous currents which make it not very acceptable for children and at times adults. Nice beach but there are better in the area!

A lonely (in the off season), windy, expanse of soft white sand, Foguete is a piece of paradise. We have seen turtles, golfinhos or dolphins, penguins (unfortunately once we found a dead one covered with black oil), and of course, crabs and different birds. At the very end towards Pontal, the fishermen bring in the boats rolling them on tree... More

It is wide, about 10 kms and has perfect white sand beach, no corrals, weed or jelly fish. The sand is actually half see-through crystal, half white. Nothing I have ever seen before. Constant wind is not very strong, but often about 15-20 knots and PERFECT waves!!! I'd say it is one of the best all-around beaches for swimming, tanning... More
