An excellent amenity. Whether walking or riding, this "pathway" is a great way to relax and enjoy time out. As a local, the best time is during the week as it is very popular at weekends. Whatever time you choose though, use it and enjoy...More

This is a hidden gem in the heart of orewa. It is buzzing these school holidays! A really beautiful walkway suitable for all ages :) Great footpaths the whole way and stunning views. Definitely a new favourite for us

The cycleway around the estuary provides a great bike trip for all ages ( as well as being a walkway). Mainly along flat concrete paths the cycleway is an awesome example of urban soft adventure, that is easy, and has many differing vantage points to...More

I live here and are sick and tired of tourists hogging the entire walkway, stopping right in the middle for chats. Ridiculous arrogant attitude. Stay away from this place on Sundays, madness.

Pleasant scenery as you wind your way around the path. Begin and end at the Estuary Arts Centre and you can have refreshments at the little cafe and enjoy the current exhibition. Alternatively, head over the road to the fantastic Orewa beach.

Estuary track takes you along the everchanging estuary, past houses, through bush, the new Millwater suburb, a gravel track and back to the beginning again. Widely used and good for all types of fitness levels.

Hi, Yes you can in Orewa town near the cycle path. As we use our own cycles I can't tell you the cost.
