We were definitely put off by the $30 fee. I think this should easily be halved if you're not doing the fully guided tour. We still had fun despite the rain. You get up close and personal with the blue ice, any added traction to...More

Picture perfect RV camping. Great for families. Friendly staff. Awesome glacier walk. Use caution on the ice and follow the marked path.

I'm still in Alaska, but I'm pretty sure this is going to remain the best thing I did. It had just finished raining when I got to the Glacier and the ice was melting, flowing into beautiful streams, outlining rocks and creating massive crevasses throughout....More

My family and I had a GREAT time hiking and exploring the glacier with our guide, Gabby! She was phenomenal and made it a hike to remember with many exploration adventures. Thanks to Nova/Gabby for adding more awesomeness to our Alaska trip!

The Matanuska Glacier is amazing, and our guides were nice and respectful. Strongly recommend to families with young children and also with their grandparents. Great fun for everyone!

I have hiked this Glacier several times as I live in Anchorage. First time was with Nova and they were okay. But this was by far a better tour. The chain crampons for our boys were comfortable and we were taken into breathtaking ice caverns....More
