Good prices a friendly staff rented a canoe for the day but would recommend bringing an anchor if you a using it for fishing being solo and with wind on the lake can be challenging to keep yourself on the fish everything else they provided

We didn't have a lot of time to spend here, but I would go back and rent kayaks or go for a hike around the lake. Beautiful, and remarkably the water isn't that cold!

We had a great hike at Byers Lake and rented a canoe for an hour ($20). It's a gorgeous lake, so seeing it from the boat and trail was nice.

We went on a guided walk around Byers Lake as an optional extra, while staying at McKinley Princess Lodge. It was raining at the lodge, but perfectly fine at Byers. There were only six people on the walk as well as our guide Leah. She...More

I'm sorry but you are stuck without a vehicle. The lake is quite a distance from the lodge. The lodge does have trails that go up Keusugi Ridge but I would be a long but beautiful hike to Byers Lake....
